Register Round-Up
What is Register Round-Up?
Co-op shoppers have the option to round up their grocery bill to the next dollar and donate to local nonprofit organizations chosen by our Member-Owners. At the end of the designated Round-Up period, 100% of these funds are donated directly to the organization to help them continue to support our community!
We launched our Register Round-Up Program in June of 2019 and have been absolutely blown away by its success. Since then, we’ve raised more than $220,000 for local organizations!
our selection process
Co-op Member-Owners nominate non-profits during the designated nomination period (late spring).
Co-op Member-Owners vote for their top ten organizations from the finalist pool.
To qualify for Register Round-Up, organizations must:
Currently be a registered 501(3)c nonprofit organization or a registered nonprofit with a 501(3)c fiscal sponsor
Not be directly affiliated with a religious organization or political party
Be headquartered in and serving the Greater Portland area
Not have received funds through Register Round-Up for the past three (3) cycles
