Come learn about honey and its virtues and drawbacks in herbal preparations!

Honey is the first and most widespread sweetener used by humans and has been favored throughout history for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-allergenic properties.

In this class we’ll learn about the composition, history, and uses of honey, as well as how to prepare infused honeys from both fresh and dried ingredients. You’ll even have the chance to sample an infused honey preparation!

Pay What You Can: $0-15. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

AJ is a licensed massage therapist, herbalist, and Co-op employee based out of Portland with an affinity for accessible educational programming, plants, and cats.
